Several months ago, Kim reached out to me to see if I would be available to photograph her wedding. I specialize in children and family portraiture, and only take on a very limited amount of weddings each year, however, I knew right away that I wanted to be a part of this special day for she and Scott, for a few reasons. First, Kim and her family have been a part of my life literally my entire life. Her mom and aunts were my Sunday school teachers, and they have been there for my family in some of our hardest times. When there have been deaths in my family, "the Jones sisters" have been there with us. Secondly, I have a soft spot for blended families, because, as you know, I am living in one myself. I love to see families come together in unique ways, and blend together. And lastly, I adore Kim and consider her a spiritual mentor of sorts via social media, and was thrilled at the chance to get to spend the whole day with her!
Kim and Scott's wedding, the thoughtful decor, the special touches throughout the ceremony, and the light-hearted, laughter-filled reception, was so perfectly them. Simple, joyful, beautiful, and Christ-centered, and I loved every minute of it. Special thanks to RaDel Hinckley Photography for being my second-shooter for this wedding. Having you there made the process so much smoother, and I do not think I will work another wedding without you!
Here are just a few of my favorite images from Scott and Kim's wedding day! Enjoy!
