If you saw the Facebook sneak peek, you're here to find out who showed up to this couple's very first maternity photo shoot.

I won't keep you waiting....

Who showed up to their first ever maternity shoot was...

Their seven other children!

That's right, this beautiful family is welcoming the TENTH member of their clan to the mix very soon. A little girl to even it out. And although Amanda is currently in her 72nd month of pregnancy (!!) they have never had a professional maternity shoot done before. Needless to say, I was more than happy to oblige!

Hannah, their oldest, was born in Searcy, Arkansas, the town where Jesse and Amanda first met while attending college at Harding University. Katie came next in Grand Prairie, Texas, where Amanda's family is. Three boys followed - Elijah, John-Paul and Daniel - all born in Summerville, South Carolina. Thomas made his entrance on Leyte Island in the Phillippines, while the family was there doing mission work. And Lucy arrived in Kansas City, MO, where Jesse is from and where they have since settled. At this point, they were sure their family was complete. Sure, because Jesse had... ahem... made medically certain of it!! Or so they thought...

Jesse found out last summer that he had a cancerous tumor on his thyroid. After the cancer had been removed, and he had completed his radiation treatment, life seemed to go back to normal. Until, surprise! They were shocked to discover that Amanda was pregnant again! Jesse jokes that when he requested prayers for his total and complete healing during his cancer treatment, he didn't mean his TOTAL and COMPLETE healing! :) Nevertheless, Jesse and Amanda are thrilled to welcome Baby #8 to their family, and know without a doubt that this baby girl has been in God's plan for them all along.

I love this family, and each one of their children, so much, and absolutely can not wait to meet (and photograph!) the newest little Mook!

Well, were you surprised?
