Custom Mobile Apps from Your Portrait Session

 

In 2017, we began including Custom Mobile Apps as a bonus feature in our Portrait Package, and I must say our clients are absolutely loving it! It's such a fun and easy way to show off your images to your friends and family. The best part? The mobile app never expires, and can be shared with anyone who would like it on their phone or tablet!

How to Install Your Custom Mobile App

About a week before your Online Ordering Gallery expires, you will receive an email with a link to install your app. Open this email on your phone or tablet, and then follow these step-by-step instructions:

For iOS & Windows Devices:

  1. Click the "Install App" link in the email.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to open the link and add it to your home screen.

For Android Devices

  1.  Click the "Install App" link in the email.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to click the menu button and add the app to your home screen.

*On some Android devices, you'll need to follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Bookmarks menu.
  2. Long press on the thumbnail image for your app.
  3. Choose "Add to Home Screen"

*At this time, Android doesnt show you when the app is fully installed. Some android users will see the "install" screen each time they open the app. The app still works, its just an extra step.

How to Use Your Mobile App

Once your mobile app is installed, you can click your app icon to view images from your portrait session. Click "Share" in the bottom right corner of your app to send a link to install to your friends and family via text, or share on social media.

The "Links" tab will give you quick access to your Online Ordering Gallery, the blog post for your session (if applicable), plus our website and social media sites.
