Liberty High School Graduate | Dom

To know the Achille family, is to love them. I first met Phil and Shari in the baseball stands. Their son, Dominic, and our son Gunner were on the same team. If you have any experience with competitive baseball, you know that you bond quickly with the other parents due to how much time you spend together. Such was the case for us - instant friends! Even after all these years, our kids still refer to Phil as “Uncle Phil”. :-)

Seems like yesterday I was photographing Dom’s sister, Anna, for her senior session at Loose Park. Time sure flies.

Dom and I started at the Town of Kansas Bridge. I love this location for senior boys, and particularly like to see the contrast between the industrial grates against crisp clean formal clothing.

Next we jogged over to the West Bottoms. (Figuratively speaking… Dom might be a cross country runner… but there will be no JOGGING for me) ;)

We ended the evening at the World War I Memorial. I love shooting during “blue hour” - those moments right after the sun sets - to get more dramatic portraiture. As you can see below, Union Station and the Kansas City skyline were glowing! Dom didn’t look half bad himself!

Thank you Dom, and the entire Achille family, for choosing me to be your senior photographer. My family and I love you all dearly and can’t wait to watch your stories continue to unfold!
